Kaleo Wheeler has been described as a bright, creative/imaginative, talented, passionate intellectual and altruistic visionary.  Her passion and purpose as a Positive Encourager and Communicator is in bringing an ancient Spiritual and Pragmatic way of living, that has been shared with her from her indigenous teachers, into today’s world where it is still so relevant and so needed. It is grounded in the ancient and original form of the Hawaiian practice of Ho'opono Pono Ke Ala, Making Right More Right, the Path to Living Aloha, combined with her expertise as a Voice Specialist, Sound Healer and Sacred Dance Instructor.

Kaleo’s career spans more than 35 years as a spiritual teacher and guide to women, speaker & storyteller,  professional singer/song stylist, sound healer, voice specialist, recording artist, author, ceremonialist, teacher/practitioner of Sacred Hawaiian Hula and a licensed acupressure teacher and practitioner.

Kaleo shares her message today in several ways

As a Speaker in how to live in a world of Joy & Positivity, no matter what is going on around you.

As a Unique Musical Storyteller, she uses her voice through what the Hawaiians call “Talk Story” and her dynamic, rich singing voice, combined with the ancient Hawaiian form of storytelling through movement – the Hawaiian Sacred Dance.

As a Spiritual Teacher & Guide to Women,  helping women to own their Authentic Voice, reconnect to their Passion and Purpose and settle into the Place they choose by being the Master Creator of their Desired Life.

She also has launched her own podcast titled Owning Your Authentic Voice.  She is also a Blogger and shares these teachings on her Youtube channel.

Kaleo has an extensive background, especially in studying with Master Teachers of Hawaiian Spirituality and Sacred Hula both in Hawai’i and on the mainland since the late 80’s.  She apprenticed to a Native American Spiritual teacher for 14 years.  She also trained and was a teacher/practitioner of Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® from 1988 to 2007 and a Voice Specialist and Sound healer through the Somatic Voicework, the LoVetri Method from 1983 to 2004.   Her format now is more virtual online, and she has spoken, performed and taught in person throughout the US and Canada.

In addition to Speaking, Kaleo leads retreats, workshops and trainings, as well as private 1 on 1 sessions.  Everything she  shares is a culmination of what helped her overcome early trauma in her life, and it is so fulfilling to her today, to be able to help other women in to do the same in their healing journey in weaving their lei of life with joy, positivity, acceptance, confidence and sacredness.

On a personal note, Kaleo lives alone with her fur baby, Bella, a Maltese/Shitzu, who is her constant companion and a healer in her own right.  Bella is always there ready to give her love to anyone that comes into our space.  Kaleo also currently lives in a home across from the Glendale Shoals, preserve and waterfall in Spartanburg SC, where she offers her in-person events.
